Caesar salad with chicken

Few people know that Caesar salad, despite its name, is not actually an Italian dish. Its origins are linked to Mexico, where it was first prepared. Interestingly, the salad became very popular in America first, and only then did its fame spread around the world. The salad was named after its creator, the chef Caesar Cardini.
